Connect your WhatsApp
How to connect your business WhatsApp Business number so conversations start landing in the Connver inbox.

Connecting the number is the first step: until it is done, the inbox is empty.
Before you start
You need a WhatsApp Business number that belongs to the business, not someone's personal line. If the number is already in use in the WhatsApp Business app on a phone, keep it to hand: it is needed to confirm the connection.
The steps
- Go to Settings → Connections.
- Choose to connect WhatsApp and follow the authorisation with Meta.
- Confirm the number you want to use.
- Send a test message to that number from another phone and check it shows up in the inbox.
What happens next
As soon as the channel is connected, new conversations start arriving. The history that already lived on the phone is not imported on its own; if you have it exported, it is useful for drafting your catalogue.
If nothing arrives
- Check the channel shows as active under Settings → Connections.
- Make sure the test message comes from a number other than the connected one.
- If it still doesn't show up, write to us and we'll look at it with you.
